I had always promised Isaac a 10th birthday party, but because we were still living at the house in town when he turned 10, I said he could have a party when he turned 11 because we'd be in the new house with much more space at Pie Creek. Well, we weren't at Pie Creek, be we were in another house at Dagun... with much more space. So Isaac had 4 friends over to celebrate his 11th birthday... Jethro, Charlie, Ryan and Matthew...

Isaac's First Year at School
I was more than thrilled when Isaac arrived home in his last week of school with his folio, which included a CD of more than 300 photos that his teacher had taken over the whole year!
Loving photos as much as I do, it was the best thing ever!
I had a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye looking at them.
I can't believe the year went so quickly.
Here are some of them in a slideshow...

Isaac's First Christmas Concert
Tonight we headed over to the 'Pavilion' at the show grounds for the school Christmas concert.
Rob thought we were a little early (6:15 for a 7pm start) but I thought we were there at the perfect time to grab a close car park and close-to-the-front seats.
Isaac's Prep group was the second act, singing "Six White Boomers", and they were just so cute.

Ava was very excited about it all...
...until the lack of a daytime nap hit...
...but she slept like that for over an hour, little angel!
Isaac was on the big screen for ages when the slide show stopped on this photo for the next act.
Isaac was pretty proud of himself when I went to collect him.
And rightly so, he did a great job!

Isaac's Birthday
And onto the next event (we're nearly done), Isaac is 6 today!!
He was very happy with his Hot Wheels and Lego presents.
At 10am we celebrated his birthday with a party in the park and nearly all of his school friends.
Eleven boys from his class arrived and they all played so well together.
Then it was cake time.
When we got home he spent ages happily playing with his mountain of birthday presents.
Happy birthday to our gorgeous boy!
I can't believe you are 6 already!!
PS And three cheers for Mummy for putting the massive Lego Star Wars Starfighter Spaceship together!!!
